Teacher Trainer
The position of Teacher Trainer plays a pivotal role in the academic life of Bingham Academy. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and mentor Elementary and Secodary teachers in order to ensure that they are growing in their ability to meet the educational needs of children in their classes. We would like you to have experience teaching a broad range of student ages and experience in a teacher training role.
We are looking for someone with excellent teaching pedagogy, an understanding of the Cambridge International curriculum (or similar rigorous curricula), experience teaching a broad range of student ages and experience in a teacher training role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Teaching Licence, Qualification or Credential (non-negotiable for this role)
- 5+ years experience of classroom teaching
- 3+ years experience of training teachers
- High level of knowledge of relevant curriculum, and learning and assessment theory
- Commitment to positive communication with all stakeholders
- Passion for excellent education
- Willingness to learn
- Masters Degree in Educational Leadership / Teacher Training (preferred)
- ACSI certification in Educational Leadership (preferred)
- Experience delivering the Cambridge International Curriculum (preferred)
